C'est La Vie☆ The important thing in life is to have a great aim,and the determination to attain it.[Goethe]
11月23日 e.e. cummings: somewhere i have never travelled,gladly beyondsomewhere i have never travelled,gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence: in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me, or which i cannot touch because they are too near your slightest look easily will unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers, you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens (touching skilfully, mysteriously)her first rose or if your wish be to close me, i and
my life will shut very beautifully ,suddenly, as when the heart of this flower imagines the snow carefully everywhere descending; nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility:whose texture compels me with the color of its countries, rendering death and forever with each breathing (i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens;only something in me understands the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses) nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands 10月25日 [NHL 2009-2010]Flames Beat the Oilers again, agian, and again"Tha Battle of Alberta", third round.

10月21日 [NHL 2009-2010]Jarome's NightOne week ago in Columbus, Ohio, the Flames blew the lead and was buried by Ex-Flame HUSELIUS. Back to the Pengrowth Saddledome, they won't let that kind of thing happen again.
The Calgary Flames have been getting contributions from just about everyone this season. Tuesday night, it was finally the captain's turn. Jarome Iginla broke out of an extended scoring slump with a goal and two assists as the red-hot Calgary Flames earned a 6-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
10月14日 [NHL 2009-2010]Ex-Flame HUSELIUS buried CalgaryIt paled in comparison to the Thanksgiving Night debacle, but the Calgary Flames blew a lead on the road for the second straight day and lost 2-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"Embarrassed," in the words of captain Jarome Iginla after coughing up a 5-0 first-period advantage on Monday and falling 6-5 in overtime in Chicago, the Flames couldn't hold onto a 1-0 lead late in the second period against Columbus. "What we are really working on is to hold the fort and get a push back," Iginla said after Tuesday's defeat. "I thought we almost did that in the second period and then we ran into penalty trouble." The game turned on a 5-on-3 power play, with the Blue Jackets' Anton Stralman scoring his first of the season to tie it with 4:28 left in the second period. Two minutes later, former Flame Kristian Huselius notched the go-ahead goal at even strength. (CBC Sports)
![]() ![]() Four games winning streak, then losing 3 in a row, is not worrisome.
No team can finish the regular season with a record 82-0. Just keep going, for the NW division crown.
GO FLAMES GO!
[NHL 2009-2010]Dramatic-Humiliating-PatheticThe Flames scored the game's first 5 goals, but the Blackhawks fought back and won in overtime.
Dramatic?
Humiliating?
Pathetic?
Unbelievable... 10月10日 [NHL 2009-2010]Curtis McElhinney's Poor Performance Ends Flames' Season-Opening Win StreakThe Calgary Flames may be the NHL's best team at this early stage of the season, but if they want to stay that way they may have to do something about their backup goaltending.
Fighting the puck for much of the night, second-stringer Curtis McElhinney surrendered four goals on 29 shots as Calgary lost for the first time, 5-2 to the visiting Dallas Stars on Friday night.
Damn you redneck Sutters, get a decent backup goalie, otherwise the "Out-After-First-Round" tragedy will happen again!
